It is officially 2023! We love everything about the new year, especially when people are planning events. Summerville is an area full of life, with residents always looking forward to spending time together. This year, we wanted to ensure that everyone could see what events are out there with enough time to get them on their calendars!

Our entire team at Martin Freeman Group looks forward to attending Summerville events every year. We have gotten to try many before, and we are excited to see what we have been missing! Join us as we make 2023 another year full of Summerville fun.

2023 Events To Look Out For

Buona Sera!

On both Friday, February 10th and 11th, at 7:30 p.m., you can experience the third concert in the 70-member Summerville Orchestra’s 2022-2023 Ameriprise Financial Subscription Series, “Past. Present. Future.”. Tickets are $22 for adults and $2 for anyone under 18 years old. The performance takes place at the Summers Corner Performing Arts Center.

Summerville Goat Yoga

As if yoga wasn’t already fun enough, The Flowertown Charm Farm is bringing us Goat Yoga! The goats roam around as you participate in a fun and relaxing yoga class. The class is an hour-long outside on their farm. Their website has more information for you to sign up and enjoy a new take on a standard yoga class. Who doesn’t love some time spent with adorable goats? This experience has many dates currently available for you to enjoy through 2023. Check it out today to ensure you get the chance to experience yoga and goats.

The Reformation

If you did not get enough of the orchestra in February, you have another chance! On both Friday, March 31st, and April 1st, at 7:30 p.m., you can experience the fourth concert in the 70-member Summerville Orchestra’s 2022-2023 Ameriprise Financial Subscription Series, “Past. Present. Future.”. Tickets are $22 for adults and $2 for anyone under 18 years old. The performance takes place at the Summers Corner Performing Arts Center. Don’t miss the fantastic performances these musicians have to offer!

Cocktails and Camellias

Are you busy on February 11th from 4 to 6 p.m.? While a little further out of Summerville, this is the premiere cocktail party of the year that celebrates the 10,000 camellias blooming each year at Middleton Place. With cocktails and wine, guests can explore the beautiful grounds while also enjoying live music. Executive Chef Chris Lukic will also provide small plates of excellent spins on Lowcountry food staples. The tickets are on sale for $95.

Stingray Hockey Games

The North Charleston Colosseum is such a great venue that sits not far from our local neighborhoods here in Summerville. The Stingrays hockey team has begun its season, and the games are a great way to become part of the action. With food and drinks on-site, you can make an evening out of it and enjoy your time. There are so many dates to choose from that it really works with anyone’s schedule. Maybe you’ll even find yourself on the jumbotron!

This is just the tip of the iceberg of what is available for you to enjoy in 2023. Spend the beginning of the new year deciding what events you are going to attend! There are so many 2023 events in Summerville that bring the whole neighborhood together. Sometimes you may even get to venture into other spaces nearby as well. Our team is very excited to get out to some of these; we are sure you are too. Looking to move to the Summerville area? Reach out to the Martin Freeman Group to get started today!
