This wonderful event is held at charming Middleton Place exploring America’s Oldest Landscaped Gardens with a glass of wine in hand. This event includes wine-tasting stations in the gardens and light hors d’oeuvres. On June 7th from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm Summerville will be hosting their annual Sounds on the Square concert series featuring “Mystic Vibrations”. This free concert is located in Hutchinson Square in downtown Summerville. All participants are encouraged to bring their own chairs or blankets.

On the third Thursday of each month Historic Downtown Summerville transforms into a special marketplace featuring local entertainment, craft vendors and artisans, to complement the extended hours of our eclectic shops, boutiques and restaurants. And if you loved Third Thursday, check out Second Sunday on King Street in downtown Charleston! This event runs every month on the Second Sunday, and is sure to be filled with lots of shopping, eating, and fun.
Coined as one of America’s major performing arts festivals, the Spoleto Festival fills Charleston’s historic theaters, churches, and outdoor spaces with performances by renowned artists as well as emerging performers in opera, theater, dance, and chamber, orchestral, choral, jazz, and contemporary music.
